HP Sells iPod Minis
June 3rd, 2005
HP has added the iPod Mini to its iPod range. They will manufacture a 4GB and a 6GB version, selling them for $199 and $249 respectively.
As with all the HP iPods, they are indistinguishable from the Apple manufactured version, with the exception of an HP logo on the back. Both versions feature a touch-sensitive click wheel for easy, one-handed navigation, battery life of up to 18 hours, USB charging and an ultra-portable, lightweight design. The music players also include earbud headphones, a belt clip and a USB 2.0 cable.
HP has also launched the catchily titled HP Printable Tattoos for the Apple iPod mini from HP. These ultra-thin HP Printable Tattoos are easy to apply and remove from the iPod mini’s exterior. Customers can download design from a growing range on the HP website and print them on a HP Photosmart 375 Compact Photo Printer using specially cut paper. The retail price for HP Printable Tattoos for the iPod mini is US$9.99 which includes 5 tattoos.
